Minsk ski race 2019 was held in Belarus
The traditional sports festival Minsk ski race took place at the capital’s ski roller track in Vesnyanka. The current sports festival was different from the previous ones - it was not a ski race, as before, but a biathlon race.
The teams of the Head of State, the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, regional executive committees, the Minsk city executive committee, security ministries and departments, republican government bodies, biathlon fans, and higher education institutions took part in the race.
The team of the Head of State won the ski race. Silver went to the team of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee. Third was the team of the Council of Ministers.
In the relay race among the teams of the central administrations of the security ministries and departments, in which the team of the State Customs Committee took part, the first place was taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The traditional final phase of the holiday was a mass start. Each finisher received a commemorative medal.
