The driver of a heavy truck, traveling to the territory of the EEU from Germany, hid 4.2 thousand pieces of shaving cassettes from customs officers
A 35-year-old citizen of the Republic of Belarus, following from Germany through the checkpoint «Kozlovichi», attempted to illegally import into the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union over 4.2 thousand pieces of razor cassettes for machine tools and medicines in assortment. The driver hid the goods from customs control in the technological compartments of a Mercedes-Benz truck.
Passing through customs control, a passenger customs declaration was not submitted by a citizen, an oral application for the movement of goods subject to mandatory written declaration was not received.
The preliminary estimated value of the undeclared goods amounted to almost 37 thousand Belarusian rubles.
Brest Customs has initiated an administrative process in accordance with Part 2 of Article 15.1 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of this article provides for the imposition of a fine of up to 30 basic units with the confiscation of hidden goods subject to customs declaration, or without confiscation.
