Customs officers of all regions of the country took part in the Republican clean-up
Belarusian customs officers took an active part in the national clean-up. Employees of the State customs Committee, customs, departmental Institute and RUE "Beltamozhservice" cleaned workplaces, territories adjacent to checkpoints, internal customs clearance points and administrative buildings.
Of course, the customs officers paid special attention to the improvement of memorial and historical complexes, places of military and military glory.
Thus, the Gomel customs officers improved the monument to the soldiers-liberators, located in the village of Sharpilovka in the Gomel region. The choice fell on it not by chance, because the village is located near the checkpoint "Novaya Guta", where the employees of the Gomel customs service serve.
Employees of the Mogilev customs put in order the territories of the military burial site located in the village of Alyuta and the burial of prisoners of the Dribinsky death camp in the village of Chernevka, Grodno customs officers removed the territory adjacent to the military memorial in the berestovitsky district.
Vitebsk customs officers have made improvements to the burial sites of Soviet patriots in Braslav, monuments to burned civilians in the villages of Mylenki and Denisenki in the verkhnedvinsky district.
The graves of victims of fascism, the monument in honor of the former Soviet Union's occupied territory, now the Ivanovo district of the Brest region, the underground village Council of people's deputies, and the monument to the tortured and shot during the great Patriotic War, located in the Pinsky district, were improved by Brest customs officers.
Customs officials also collected funds in the amount of more than 63 thousand Belarusian rubles, which will be used to prepare children's camps for the summer, improve settlements, restore historical and cultural values, memorial complexes, places of military glory during the great Patriotic war.
