The fact that the cost of a large consignment of goods, transported across the customs border of the Eurasian economic Union, with an understatement of 10 times the cost, was established by the Operational customs officers.
Violation of customs legislation was detected at the checkpoint «Benyakoni» using a risk analysis and management system.
Two vehicles with engine oils, paint materials, flavorings for the house and car, filter elements for trucks were coming from Lithuania.
In total, there were 100 thousand units of such goods in the cargo compartments of the car. Their total cost, according to the documents submitted for registration, was about 50 thousand Belarusian rubles.
During the inspection of one of the trucks, customs officers found another set of documents for these goods, only the cost indicated in them was 10 times higher than in the documents submitted for registration.
In this regard, a request was sent to the Lithuanian customs service, which confirmed that the value of the goods presented to the Belarusian customs officers is significantly lower than that stated when exporting this product from the Republic of Lithuania.
On this fact, the Operational customs started an administrative process in accordance with part 3 of article 14.5 of the administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus, the sanction of which provides for a fine of up to 30% of the cost of goods.
