The state customs Committee received a stationary thermal imager from the Chinese company Nuctech and decided to install it at the Kozlovichi checkpoint on the Belarusian-Polish border.
At this checkpoint, from January 1, 2019, customs officers carry out not only customs control, but also perform certain functions of the border service bodies in terms of checking the documents of individuals. Today, about 1000 cargo vehicles and 1500 drivers are registered in Kozlovichi per day,so it was decided to install this equipment at this checkpoint.
The operation of a stationary thermal imager, which is located in the bureau for registration of freight forwarders, allows you to automatically scan the body temperature of individuals passing through it. In a minute, it is possible to measure the temperature of 120 people in this way. The corresponding information is displayed at the operator's workplace, and in case of exceeding the normal temperature of the human body, an automatic sound signal is sent.
The information received is immediately sent to the sanitary and quarantine service located at the checkpoint, and is promptly used to take appropriate measures.
